Anticipation was the name of my first IPA. I like the name, so I decided to keep it for my run-of-the-mill “normal” IPA. The recipe has changed ocer time — the current recipe is below. What stayed constant is the composition of hops — Polaris for bittering and Cascade for flavour.

Lauter and sparge with 10 litres at 78°C.
Boil for 65 minutes

Cool wort and add Wyeast 1107 German Ale to fermenter.
